Step back through the mists of time to watch knights on horses jousting and birds of prey flying. Browse the wares in the medieval and craft traders market. Hear tales from the Yarnsmith of Norwich. Listen to the Pentacle Drummers and Serpentyne. See battle re-enactments, Devilstick Peat the jester and try Have-a-go Archery. Children in costume can enter a fancy dress competition. Immerse yourself in living history and see it come alive in the Medieval, Viking and Anglo-Saxon campsites, watching them demonstrate their crafts and have a go at some of them. Children can play with playclay and there are other children's activities including face painting. A variety of food stalls including Simply Thai and Scoff n Nosh. Soak up the atmosphere in the Crimson Moon Beer Tavern. Medieval handfasting with Tanya Celebrant. A great fun day out for all the family. Disabled facilities available. Lots to see and do.
Adults £8.00 on the day, £6.00 in advance (plus booking fee)
Children under 16 free, over 16's pay adult prices
OAP's £5.00 on the day, £3.50 in advance (plus booking fee)
Tickets are valid for one day of the event only.
Online tickets will go off-sale at midnight on Friday 22 September but tickets will be available on the gate at full list price on both days.
The event runs from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm on Saturday 23 September 2017 and 9.30 am to 5.30 pm on Sunday 24 September 2017.
Sorry, there is no overnight camping for the general public.
Dogs allowed but must be kept on a lead.
Be aware, slow moving traffic through site, children must be supervised at all times.
